Eva Murgui

She works in filmmaking and film production. Her interest focuses on documenting daily life in the urban peripheries, with the intention of dignifying the singularities of these places and vindicating women as protagonists.
In 2021, as associate producer, she premiered the feature film Chavalas (Silver Bisnaga, Audience Award at the Malaga Festival, two nominations for the Goya Awards, three nominations for the Gaudí Awards and two nominations for the Feroz Awards) and, in 2020, she co-produced La vieja lucha (short film candidate for the 13th Gaudí Awards, jury mention at FEMCINE and selected at various international festivals). She has worked as assistant director on several fiction and documentary feature films, such as Muyeres (in post-production), Mi vacío y yo (world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2022) and Quinqui Stars (premiered at the 63rd Seminci).
She has written and directed the film Satélites, selected for the Simfonies de ciutat project and produced by the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) in collaboration with Dones Visuals, which premiered at the D'A Film Festival 2022.
